VIP Preview Crowd of 200+ Celebrates Opening of New Clinic
Dallas City Councilwoman Pauline Medrano Performs Ribbon-Cutting
More than 200 people attended a special preview party on June 11th for the grand opening of the new 14,000 sq. ft. HealthCareClinics. The event was hosted by Dr. Ron Skufca, clinic founder and director, his wife Andrea, and the staff of the clinic, which has been providing primary care in Dallas for more than 30 years. The new clinic formally opened for patients on June 15, 2009.
Dallas City Councilwoman Pauline Medrano performed the traditional ribbon-cutting to officially mark the opening of the state-of-the-art medical facility. Also among those attending were representatives of area neighborhood associations, Dallas area physicians, a number of long-time patients, and a wide assortment of friends and neighbors who have watched the clinic grow over the years.
The guests enjoyed the music of The Rich Jasin Trio and hors d’oeuvres provided by one of the neighborhood’s outstanding bistros, Soley! Restaurant, and owner/chefs José and Norma Vasconcelos. Also attending were local artists Laurie Pace, John Abrams and Mary Griffin, whose artwork hangs throughout the clinic. Artist Michael Ledoux was unable to attend but was well represented by his mother.
